Carismar Software AB, hereby called the Company, is responsible for personal data according to the data protection regulation for the processing of personal data.

The Company cares about the personal integrity of those who visit the website geins.io and the social media platforms that the Company uses (see list under section "Links and external websites"). We are responsible for ensuring that the personal data collected by us may only be used for the intended purpose. We protect them against unauthorized access and use.

Here you will find a summary of our obligations and your rights as a provider of personal data.

Processing of personal data

In order for us to be able to answer a question or fulfill a request from you, you sometimes have to provide personal data in the form of e.g. name, address, organization, e-mail address and telephone number. The information you provide is used to process your requests and/or to provide the services/information you requested.

We also process data that is automatically registered during your visit and collected on our website, only after an interaction (see "Cookies and log files").

Personal data may be transferred to companies within the Company's group. Other companies within the Company's group may each be responsible for personal data according to the conditions that apply to the respective service or function and according to national legislation applicable to such company.

Personal data may also be disclosed to subcontractors that the Company engages to perform a service, i.e. for sending financial information, invitations, recruitment and general meetings. Such subcontractor is a personal data assistant for the Company.

How long are personal data saved? 

We store your personal data for as long as the provision of our services requires or if we believe there is a legitimate interest in further storage.

Interest balancing is done based on us only communicating with you in your professional role and keeping you informed connected to one or more relevant purposes described here.

The purposes

  • Keep you continuously informed via e-mail when news occurs at the Company. This may mean product news or when information is posted under our article/news page.

  • Send the information you request from our Knowledge Hub / Case studies page

  • Inform yourself about activities you may be interested in participating in

  • Contact you and give you the help you require.

  • Contact you regarding recruitment if you have applied for a position with us.

  • Registration for the general meeting is used for the voter register and to administer the general meeting.

  • We also save personal data in order to carry out market analysis and for automatic profiling based on web activity, where your profile can be used for marketing purposes.

Security

When you provide your personal data to the Company, you must feel safe. We therefore take all reasonable measures to ensure that your personal data is protected. Among other things, SSL security is used. Your personal data will never be sold or transferred to another party for purposes other than those specified in this policy.

Processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the provisions of the Swedish privacy protection legislation.

The systems we use to store your data are basically adapted to comply with the personal data legislation that exists in Sweden and the rest of the EU, which is described here.

The company only cooperates with partners who process personal data within the EU/EEA or with companies that maintain the same level of protection as within the EU/EEA by, for example, having joined the so-called Privacy Shield agreement between the EU and the US.

Cookies and log files

Cookies The website geins.io uses cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on the visitor's computer and which, among other things, can save personal settings and make it possible to follow what the visitor does on the website.

We use analysis cookies to be able to evaluate and keep statistics on our visitors' general behavior on our website.

  • GA4, Search Console and Tag Manager from Google

  • Albacross and leadfeeder as analysis tools

  • Sharpspring as an opt-in tool*

  • And pixels from Linkedin (insight) and Meta (fb pixel) for analysis of social media traffic

*By opt-in we mean the forms that the visitor can fill in to be contacted, receive newsletters, invitations and to take part in content such as white papers, articles and videos. Then the user's e-mail address is registered linked to an IP address, which Sharpspring will recognize on the next visit to our website.

Log files When you use the Internet from your computer or mobile device, certain information will be transferred, so-called log files. This is a file that contains the computer/mobile device's log, i.e. a chronological list of events and actions in the computer/mobile device.
