Why can't I log in as a customer via Merchant Center?
After a customer has placed their first order in your shop, an account is automatically created for them. However, the customer must take the necessary steps to choose a password, which will enable you, as the merchant, to log in as that customer.
If your customers have logged in to their account you can easily log in as that particular customer through Geins built in CMS>Customers
.
Click on the tab Log in as customer and you'll see all the orders which have been placed by that particular customer.
NOTE: You can't see the customers password in Merchant center since it's encrypted for your customers safety.
Why can’t I find a customer when searching by customer number?
When searching in Merchant Center. If there are many search results, you may need to use additional search terms to narrow it down.
I can’t see the "Log in as Customer" button?
The **"Log in as Customer"** function is only available for active customers. If the customer is inactive, the button will not be visible.
