Preview/View your content

In Geins CMS, you can easily preview and view your content, whether it's live, scheduled, or in draft form. This allows you to check how your content looks live or will appear before publishing it on your site. You can work with drafts in all sections except **Menus.**

Preview

Preview is available when the content is a draft. Read more on working with drafts in this article: Working with drafts

  • If you have scheduled content for a specific date, you can use the** Set Spoofed Time **feature to see how it will look at that time.

Please note that the preview function depends on it being implemented in your storefront.

View

For content that is live (e.g., a start page or content area), click the View button to see it as it appears on your site.

  • You can also use Set Spoofed Time to view if content has been scheduled for a specific date.

View on Pages

  • For content pages (not the start page or content areas), click the link in the** Page URL **section to view the live version.
  • To use the Set Spoofed Time feature on a content page, first convert it to a draft.

Scheduling Content

With the scheduling feature, you gain the ability to seamlessly plan the publication of your content while also previewing how it will appear on the scheduled date and time.

The banner widget is a powerful widget that makes it possible to create content containing picture or video with text and buttons on.
