Bulk actions
Add tags, add channels, link to products, move, download, or trash many assets at once.
Key features
- Select assets one by one or all assets on a page
- Add tags or channels to many assets at once
- Link many assets to products as images or files
- Move, download, or trash many assets at once
Quick guide
- Go to Asset library.
- Select the assets you want to change.
- Click Choose action.
- Select an action and fill in the properties.
- Click Run bulk action.
Select assets
Click the checkbox on each asset you want to select. To select every asset on the current page, click Select all on this page.
The toolbar shows how many assets you selected, for example 1 selected. Click Deselect all to clear your selection.
Run a bulk action
- Click Choose action.
- Select an action.
- Fill in the Properties for the action.
- Click Run bulk action.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Add tags | Adds one or more tags to the selected assets. |
| Add channels | Adds one or more channels to the selected assets. |
| Link to products | Links the selected assets to one or more products. |
| Move to folder | Moves the selected assets to a folder. |
| Move to trash | Moves the selected assets to trash. |
Link assets to products
- Select the assets.
- Click Choose action and select Link to products.
- Select how to link the assets in Link as:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Image | Links the assets as product images. |
| File | Links the assets as product files, such as manuals or data sheets. |
- Search for and select the products.
- Click Run bulk action.
Download or trash assets
The toolbar also has shortcuts for two common actions:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Download | Downloads the selected assets. |
| Move to trash | Moves the selected assets to trash. You can restore them for 30 days. See Trash. |
