Can I update existing products and create new ones in the same import?
If the ID column is empty and the product name doesn’t match any existing product, a new product will be created.
If the name matches an existing product, that product will be updated.
Recommendation:- For existing products, always fill in both the ID and Name columns to ensure accurate updates.
- Test the import with one or a few products first to ensure the expected result before running a larger import.
Why does my properties/filters import fail?
Occasionally, errors may occur while using the Geins Import Tool. These errors can arise due to incorrect values entered or when the .csv or .xlsx files contain faulty information.
