Create new category

How to add a new category in Merchant Center.

Quick guide

  1. Go to Products (PIM) > Categories > New.
  2. Enter the category's information and content.
  3. Set the category active and add active products so it's visible in the store.
  4. Save, then drag and drop it to the desired position in the category tree.

Create a category

  1. Navigate to Products (PIM) > Categories > New.
  2. Enter the desired information and content for the category. Category field descriptions are here.
  3. To make a category visible in the store, it must have a name, be set as active, and contain active products. An empty category isn't visible by default.
  4. To position a category in the category tree, save it first, then drag and drop it to the desired position in the Product Category tree list box.
